The 2026 Ozone Krushevo Open took place from 30 August to 5 September in North Macedonia, bringing together 37 pilots for six days of flying. Favourable weather allowed the competing pilots to complete six tasks, ranging from 46km to 76km, in this educational and inclusive event. Event organiser Jocky Sanderson noted that the conditions encouraged a mix of mountain and flatland flying. Three days featured north winds, prompting tasks down the valley via turn points, while nil wind days saw pilots navigating triangle tasks across the northern open spaces. One classic day provided smooth thermals, taking pilots above 3,000 metres with clear views over the lakes and open flatlands. The final day tested the field with a strong inversion and clear skies, requiring a slower pace and careful flying in the stable air.

In the overall rankings, Kevin Dutt (USA) took first place flying the Ozone Lyght, followed closely by Stephen Parles (IRL) in second on an Ozone Photon. The event highlighted a strong sense of community, supported by the local expertise of Ozone team pilot Martin Jovanoski and the broader team, including Stefan Dzugovski, Igor Todevski, Mihajlo Fiti, Emilija Markovska, and Stefan Joseski. Reflecting on the week's success and thanking co-organiser Baki, Jocky shared, “I am so proud of Ozone’s continued support that made this fun educational event possible and their unequalled kindness made one pilot very happy when he won the free Ozone glider in the raffle!”
