Krushevo is gearing up for an incredible festival of flight as the Ozone Krushevo Open 2026 approaches. Set in the stunning, high-altitude mountains of North Macedonia, this highly anticipated event will take place from August 30 to September 5 and it is completely focused on education, safety, and ease of participation within a beautifully friendly environment. With comfortable grassy launches sitting at over 1,400 metres and the vast Pelagonia Valley providing kilometres of smooth, open landing fields, the atmosphere is set to be absolutely electric. The local conditions offer the ultimate classroom for pilots wanting to build confidence and step up their cross-country game without the stress of high-pressure racing.

The entire experience is being brought to life by a team of experienced local pilots who want to ensure every participant gets the most out of their time in the air. Leading the organisation is Baki Shakirovski from Ozone North Macedonia, alongside the legendary Jocky Sanderson and a host of guests from Ozone Paragliders. This dream team is dedicated to delivering top-tier daily briefings, highly achievable tasks, and insightful evening debriefings to help everyone optimise their flying.

To keep the field safe and perfectly fair, the event prohibits high-end racing wings, allowing only EN-C and below gliders to take part. Beyond the technical learning, pilots can look forward to a fantastic community spirit, cold goal beers, and brilliant social parties to cap off every epic day.
