What a spectacular week of racing at Loudenvielle / Val Louron for the French Open – Trophées des Cimes 2026! The Pyrenees turned on the style with incredibly generous conditions, offering magnificent cloudbases reaching up to 3,500 metres on the best days. Pilots enjoyed five brilliant tasks out of a potential six, flying ambitious routes that stretched up to 116 kilometres and taking the field past iconic landmarks like the Pic du Midi, the Col d’Aspin, and the Lac du Portillon.
At the end of a highly competitive and dense week of mountain racing, Baptiste Lambert claimed a superb victory in the overall ranking flying his Ozone Enzo 3 + Submarine combo. Reflecting on the win, he said: "I was able to fly in full attack mode in this beautiful terrain and very tricky routes.” Standing alongside him on the overall podium were Andy Tallia in second place and Michel Cervellin in third, also on the Ozone Enzo 3 and Submarine.
In the women's classification, Constance Mettetal flew a magnificent competition to secure the top spot on the podium. Navigating the technical valley transitions and strong thermals on her Ozone Enzo 3, Constance showed incredible consistency across the demanding mountain tasks, which even included a 74-kilometre fifth task that was stopped as thunderstorms began to develop. Joining her on the podium was Daphnée Ieropoli, who took second place also flying the Ozone Enzo 3, while Sandra Antony secured third place flying the Ozone Zeno 2 to complete an all-Ozone podium celebration.
