This week the Ozone Team of pilots dominated several disciplines of Paragliding competition around the globe. Felix Rodriguez took the 2008 Overal FAI Acro World Cup lead, in a hotly contested season-long battle with Horacio Lorens and Hernan Pitocco. Congrats Felix, the Overal World Cup win is the most difficult and requires that pilots fly consistently, and the World Cup title is the true mark of a winner. Susanne Wyss, our Swiss XC Team Pilot, found herself on the podium at the Swiss Championships. Of all the countries in the world, Switzerland has to be one of the most difficult countries to win a medal in, given the high concentration of excellent pilots, so a big congratulations to Susanne! Susie is relatively new to the comp scene and we have proudly watched her cautious progress and look forward to more successes with her in the future. And in the Paragliding Accuracy European Championships, 21 year old Milica Bicanin from Serbia took the top spot, winning the Women's overall. Milica was flying her Ozone Rush, which is quite impressive as many of the other competitors were on more basic wings. At just 21 years old Milica is bound to be a force on the accuracy scene for some time to come. Flying on her home ground at Niska Banja, Serbia, Milica flew consistently well over the gruelling 10 round, 6 day competition. She then went on to win 6th overall at the Test Event for the World Air Games, at Avigliana, near Turin, Italy, beating many of the invited top male pilots! Congrats, Milica!
