Andreas "Pepe" Malecki, Jörg Nuber, and Yvonne Dathe are the new German Champions for 2011. Pepe took first overall in the Open Class with his R11, Jörg was flying his M4 for his Serial Class win, and Yvonne won the women's category (together with Katrin) flying her Mantra R 10.2. This overall 2011 German Championship result was calculated after 5 valid tasks (3 were held at the Franz Wanger Cup in May, and 2 at the German Open in Lenggries last week). Pepe narrowly held his winning margin by arriving in goal first on the last task, and Jörg was followed closely by Hermann Klein, who took 2nd place in the serial class, also flying a Mantra M4.
