The Pre-Paragliding World Cup in Pegalajar, Spain, saw three valid tasks of between 85km and 135km that took pilots from all over the world across the endless olive groves of the area.
R&D pilot Honorin Hamard was first overall, followed by Stephane Drouin and Davide Sassudelli, all flying Enzo 3 and Submarines.
Honorin commented: “A great competition comes to an end... A top-notch organization, difficult weather but 3 beautiful tasks out of 5, thank you for everything, that's why we love Spain!
I was lucky enough to be consistent and narrowly pulled through on the last task to win this competition; this time I had luck on my side, and that feels good for the morale after missing out on the first two competitions of the year.”
In the women’s class, Sandra Anthony took first place on her Zeno 2 ahead of Keiko Hiraki and Anna Berger on their Enzo 3/Submarine.
Congratulations and cheers from the Ozone team!
