

Allly Palencia wins the Pre-PWC Ecuador 2014, top five on Enzo 2s

The Venezuelan Allly Palencia, aboard his Ozone Enzo 2, has been proclaimed Champion in the Pre-Paragliding World Cup Ecuador 2014, which was held last week in the port city of Guayaquil. 70 athletes from 16 countries participated in the event. Palencia won the gold medal accumulating 5,633 points during seven days of hard competition. Colombian Julian Carreño (5,545) and Guillermo Salazar (5,345) ranked second and third, respectively, also flying Enzo 2s. To complete the top five, the Spanish Francisco Reina placed fourth while the Colombian Daniel Montejo finished fifth.
"It was a very hard competition, with varying weather conditions, allowing test all styles of flight. I owe my title to the persistence and perseverance, because this sport requires a lot of concentration" said Palencia.
