The Men's and Women's podium at the PWC Austria last week was filled entirely by Ozone Pilots! The top 4 overall spots went to Ozone with 7 out of the top 10 flying R11s. Alex Hofer took top honors with Jacques Fournier and Josef Brandner in second and third places. The women's podium was headed by Regula Strasser with Elisa Houdry in second and Seiko Fukuoka Naville in third. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, only one task was valid. However, the R11 pilots all seemed entirely satisfied with their new wings and everyone is looking forward to Piedrahita, where the World Championship Title will be battled for in July. Overall results can be seen here. The Ozone Team would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the pilots who have chosen to fly Ozone this year. We are honored by the great number of high level comp pilots who are flying R11s and we look forward to the rest of the competition season. With so many top pilots all flying the same competition wing as newer competition pilots, the playing field has truly been "leveled" and sponsored factory team pilots no longer have a special advantage from prototype wings. We love the spirit of this game and look forward to seeing more Ozone podiums in the future. Cheers from all the Team.
