Records and Personal Bests...

The greatest flight is the one you most enjoy...
Whatever the length or the location, the flights that represent a personal goal or that are just particularly beautiful are the ones that keep us coming back for more. The key to our beautiful sport might be finding the perfect blend of progression and humility - pushing ourselves just enough to stay challenged, without exceeding our comfort zone too much.
Here are a couple of standout flights that have recently been reported to us:
Fiona Macaskill of the UK set her 5th World Record for speed over a 25km triangle, flying her Delta (yet to be ratified by FAI) with a speed of 26.1kmh. Fiona loves her new Delta and we're happy to see her setting personal bests and world records with it.
Hans Hansoniem of the Netherlands wrote to us to tell us of his first 100km+ flight, completed on his new Swift in Porterville, South Africa. Hans is says that although it was love at first flight with his Swift, breaking the 100km boundary with it has really "topped it off" ;-) You can see Hans's 106km flight here.
Cheers from all the Team, and thanks for telling us about your favorite flights.
