We’re excited to welcome Swiss pilot Lars Meerstetter, a full-time tandem pilot and instructor from Hasliberg whose daily life revolves around paragliding. Lars began flying at 18 and has since built a reputation as one of the strongest young athletes in the hike & fly scene. When he’s not in the air, you’ll find him skiing, biking, or travelling, but flying remains at the center of everything he does. “All my dreams are built around flying,” he says.

In recent years, Lars has had some remarkable achievements, including podiums at Red Bull X-Alps, Eigertour, Bornes to Fly, Dolomiti SuperFly, and the Swiss Hike & Fly Championships, along with an extraordinary expedition to climb-and-fly every Swiss 4000-meter peak in just 22 days.

Looking ahead, he’s aiming for big cross country adventures in Pakistan, longer Alpine missions at home, and another shot at X-Alps 2027. We’re proud to support him on the journey.
