Ozone test pilot, Jerome Canaud, took 3rd place at the first regional XC comp at Gourdon, near the Ozone design and test center, on March 13th. Jerome got the chance to fly the Mantra prototype with Omega 6s, Boomerang 3s, and other open class wings. Only 4 pilots made goal on the final day, and all within one minute of each other! He reports that the performance is everything we'd hoped for and more, but his favorite aspect of the glider is its comfort in flight, and the superb handling.
