Chrigel Maurer has won the 2014 X-Pyrenees race by a comfortable margin, in just 5 days of flying. Chrigel finished the 437km course well ahead of second place, together with his teammate Thomas Theurillat. Chrigel flew his Ozone LM5, the same wing which carried him to victory in the 2013 RedBull X-Alps. The X-Pyrenees event crosses a shorter chain of mountains than the X-Alps, but brings athletes through more remote and wild terrain. For more information on the route and the event, check out the live tracking and event site. Congrats to Chrigel, and thanks to all of the pilots who flew Ozone in the race.
