At the first event of the 2011 US Nationals, Nick Greece took top honors after 7 days of intense racing. Rarely does a comp deliver 7 valid tasks in 7 days but Woodrat, Oregon, served up consistently raceable weather for the duration of the comp. Ozone Team Pilot, Nick Greece, said that the other top pilots in the comp "really meant business" and it was a close race throughout the event. Nick was followed closely by Josh Cohn, who took 2nd overall, and Matt "Farmer" Beechinor, who took third place flying the only non-Ozone wing in the top 5. Matt Senior and Nate Scales were 4th and 5th flying their Mantra R10.2s. Click here for the US Nats (Rat Race) Overall Results. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, the Indonesia Paragliding Open took place at Palu, in Central Sulawesi. The Overall title went to Sebastien Bourqiun of Switzerland, and second place to Elisa Manueke of Indonesia, both flying their Mantra R10.2 wings. Congrats to you both! Full results can be seen here.
