Olivier Laugero and his Magnum in Chamonix

There are now quite a few Magnum Tandems flying around St Hillaire and Chamonix, France, where professional tandem pilots fly regularly in difficult conditions. We pay close attention to the reports coming back from these locations, and so far the reports have been very positive. At the same competition where Jerome Canaud won 1st place overall flying his Mantra R, Ozone Team Pilot Olivier Laugero flew his Magnum alongside and in front of the other open class wings to finish 9th out of 75 gliders in one task of the competition! Not bad for a lightly loaded tandem glider (Olivier was flying with the young local Chamonix Pilot, Charlotte, who weighs just 50k). Nice work, Olivier!
