Lucas Bonin

Lucas Bonin's life has always been about the sky, sparked by a childhood dream of flying. Watching paragliders soaring above his home valley made the dream feel real, and after taking his first flight at 15, he has been hooked ever since.

That passion naturally led him to study Aeronautical Engineering, which gave him a solid technical grip on aircraft design and how things fly. After graduating, Lucas successfully turned his biggest passion into a career, working professionally as a paraglider designer and test pilot.

Lucas joined the Ozone crew in 2025. For him, being part of R&D team is a dream come true: "I’m stoked to be surrounded by such passionate people and to work at the cutting edge of the sport."

When he's not testing gliders, Lucas is all about the outdoors. Running, biking, and skiing are part of his routine, along with bigger adventures like vol-biv and bikepacking trips. But the discipline he loves most is hike-and-fly, which gives him the perfect blend of a tough physical challenge, exploring remote spots, and the ultimate freedom of flight.
