It seems that as time goes on, it's harder and harder to find amazing new places to fly. Paraglider pilots are ever-imaginative and adventurous... constantly seeking amazing new landscapes to see and people to share the experience with. This year 3 young Frenchmen, all aged 19, embarked on a vol-bivouac adventure into the mountains of Kirghizstan. The trio all flew the new Geo II, their weapon of choice for the long glides above hostile terrain and the long hikes at high altitudes. Their story will be appearing soon in several magazines, so we won't spoil it here, but you can see some photos of their trip on the Geo II page, and at right. Alex Jofresa, Martin Bonis, and Fred Pieri all reported that the Geo II was the ideal vol-bivouac machine due to it's glide performance, ease of use, safety (key for flying in large, remote mountains) and of course light weight.
