Ozone Test Pilot Jerome Canaud recently flew his Mantra R Open Class prototype to a first place overall win at the Chamonix Regional XC Comp. Jerome says the Mantra R's glide performance was as good or better than the other comp wings he flew with, and was quite pleased with the wing's performance. The Mantra R is our new Open Class Comp wing, which will be flown by a small selection of Ozone Team Pilots in international comps this year. More info on this wing will be coming soon, but for now we can tell you that it is a constantly evolving proto, and the current version is 7.1 Aspect ratio with 81 cells, and what Russ and Jerome are calling 'real stability at speed'.
