This year the Ozone Chabre Open will return in June, and will be held for the 5th time in Laragne-Monteglin, France. This classic event has proven to be a favorite with pilots from all over the world and has filled up months in advance every year that it has been held. This year the Ozone Chabre Comp is already full, but the Chabre XC Challenge Online Competition is now running and will be open until September 13 2010. Entry in the competition is simple: Just launch from Laragne-Chabre, Aspres de Longeane or Sederon and download your flight afterwards on the website below. The challenge is to gain the greatest distance over three flights. Open distance, out and return and triangle flights are all eligible (Ozone Chabre Open Competition flights not included). It’s also interesting to check out the flights of other pilots on the website, for inspiration and comparison purposes. The prizegiving will take place at the Ozone stand during the Coupe Icare, at St Hilaire de Touvet, 18th and 19th September 2010. The three prize classes for the Chabre XC Challenge are: Fun class, Sport class, Women, Tandem. For further information go to: www.flylaragne.com and www.xcontest.org/laragne
