The second X-Alps race came to a close yesterday, and all 17 teams met at Greolieres near the Ozone Headquarters to rest and celebrate. Congratulations to all of the pilots who participated in this grueling race! There is not a more difficult paragliding race in existence.

Aidan Toase and Michael Gebert both flew lightweight Mantras, and finished 7th and 6th respectively. Aidan walked more than 800km in 14 days! And Michael managed to record the fastest speed of anyone on his gps, 90kmh while in flight! We're very proud of Michael and Aidan for doing so well and making it so far, they both gave 110% effort by walking long days in rain and snow until late at night, and climbing thousands of meters of vertical over the course of the race.
