Pasquale Biondo Wins Gold at Italian Championships Flying Viper 6

The Italian Paramotor Championships took place in Castiglione del Lago from June 12-16, 2024. This was the first competition in Italy held in the endurance format, allowing pilots to train before the upcoming World Championships in August.

The new format is similar to classic competitions in terms of the types of tasks, but it is more strategic as pilots must individually choose which tasks to fly each day within an open time window. This results in pilots spending as many hours in the air each day as the weather allows.

Fifteen pilots competed in class PF1, and a total of twelve tasks were scored. This year, Pasquale Biondo won the gold medal for the 9th consecutive year. Pasquale chose to fly the Viper 6 in this competition and will do the same at the upcoming World Championships.

Additionally, the top four pilots were all flying Ozone wings.

1st Pasquale Biondo

2nd Gianluca CASTELLUCCI

3rd Claudio Villi

4th Sandro Passeri

Congratulations to all pilots, and see you at the World Championships!
