Ozone Team in Egypt

Im April 2018 haben Ozone Team Piloten gemeinsam mit Freunden zum ersten mal Ägypten besucht um an den großartigen Pyramiden von Gizeh zu fliegen.

Nach 3 Jahren war das Team im Dezember 2021 wieder zurück in Ägypten um dort 10 Tage lang ein außergewöhnliches Abenteuer zu erleben, und am Roten Meer, in Luxor und wieder bei den Pyramiden in Gizeh zu fliegen.

Das Event wurde von Sky Sports Egypt organisiert –– dem Ozone PWR Händler in Ägypten. Der erste Stopp der Reise war das Rote Meer bei der neu gebauten Stadt El Galala, wo die Piloten am Meer entlang flogen, und einen Startplatz auf 850 m über dem Meer besuchten, der sich immer noch im Bau befindet. Dieser Platz hat sicherlich ein großes Potential!

Danach ging es zu dem berühmten Luxor, das auch “das größte Freilichtmuseum der Welt“ genannt wird. Dort sind die Ruinen der Tempel von Karnak und Luxor zu bestaunen, und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Nils liegen weitere Tempel und Gräber im Tal der Könige und im Tal der Königinnen. Drei Tage lang durften die Piloten über all diesen geschichtsträchtigen Monumenten fliegen.

Emilia: “Thousands of tourists from all around the world arrive annually to visit these monuments and we had this incredible opportunity to fly above them!”

Leah: “The most beautiful of sights to behold. Less well known to me I was able to fly over the city of Luxor to the temple, fly along the “Avenue of Sphinxes” to Karnak”

Johnson: “This was honestly one of my favorite moments on the Egypt tour. No pyramids, no temples, no valleys filled with archeology. Just cruising along the Nile river just off the shore next to Luxor. The morning was hazy and foggy, but if you looked for a second, you realized you are flying right next to a major city, and the architecture is nothing like where I grew up!

Next stop – famous The Great Pyramids of Giza, where pilots were flying during 3 days. Weather conditions were a bit windy but we could fly nearly all day long.”

Matias: “Such an amazing trip, being able to see so much from my paramotor is priceless, the Pyramids are incredible! You have no idea of the size of them until you fly above them”

Das Highlight dieser 3 Tage war sicherlich eine Nacht, in der wir an den Pyramiden fliegen durften.

Emilia: “We are the first pilots flying at Pyramids of Giza at night. It is beyond explanation how exiting and special that feels. Seeing Cairo city lights in the background and all those giant Pyramids with lights, what a breathtaking, incredibly beautiful view”
