We’re excited to welcome Ben to the team. Based primarily in Queenstown, New Zealand, Ben is a seasonal tandem pilot who splits his summers between the Southern Alps and Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. He began flying in 2014 at the age of 23 and has since built his life around the mountains, combining paragliding with a deep passion for snowboarding, skiing, climbing, and adventure storytelling through videography. For Ben, flying is about freedom and exploration, reaching remote places, immersing himself in landscapes and cultures, and embracing the challenge of careful planning, decision-making, and reading the mountains and the weather.

An accomplished and adventurous pilot, Ben is the current New Zealand XC Champion and a two-time Wanaka Hike & Fly Champion. His experience extends well beyond competition, with major bivouac adventures including a journey in the Karakoram, Pakistan, and the pioneering of new lines across New Zealand’s Southern Alps. We’re proud to support him in his upcoming adventures!
