The Sports Racing Series (SRS) Naviter Edition delivered a spectacular week of racing from 6 to 13 June 2026 in Tolmin, Slovenia. Welcoming pilots from 35 countries to the stunning, green Soča Valley, the event offered high-stakes mountain routes marked by dramatic ridges, with task distances stretching up to 74 kilometres. Pilots faced an incredible mix of conditions across the week, from booming 2,100-metre cloudbases and lightning-fast ridge soaring to technical, overcast days that forced determined scratching to stay airborne before final glides into the valley.
In the overall scores, Pal Takats dominated the competition on his Ozone Photon to take a well-deserved championship title. He showed incredible tactical mastery throughout the challenging conditions, keeping a close eye on his rivals and reading the changing skies perfectly to stay out in front. Reflecting on his success, he said: "The less you are busy with the glider, the more information you can collect and the better decisions you can make." Joining him on the overall podium were Luke Nicol in second place and Matthijs Derks in third.
The women's category saw equally brilliant racing, with Mette Krum taking the top step of the podium closely followed by Ni Mo in second place and Adel Honti securing third place, both flying the Ozone Photon. To wrap up a phenomenal week, the exceptional performance of the pilots across the categories saw Team Ozone take a spectacular victory in the team rankings.
