Dave Turner has just completed an 820km traverse and crossing of the California Sierra, starting at the Pacific Ocean in Santa Barbara and finishing in Verdi, Nevada. Flying in the western USA can be very demanding, with big air and large expanses of wild terrain. Dave's route was no exception, and his trip is very impressive considering that he did it solo and unsupported. There are various versions of vol-biv flying, and the solo/unsupported kind, which crosses big and uninhabited terrain, is probably the most severe. Dave reports that his LM5 performed admirably in some serious turbulence. You can read about Dave's adventure from start to finish at his website. Congrats Dave, and cheers from all the Team!
