The Italian Championship took place during what has been described as the worst week of weather of the year so far in northern Italy. Two difficult tasks were flown in the end resulting in Paolo Facchini and Peter Gebhard finishing first and second on their Enzo 2s. Six of the top ten pilots were on Ozone gliders.
