Nicola (Nick) Donini, the 16 year old son of Luca Donini (former XC World Champion and 2x European Champ), has won the 2013 Italian Acro Champion. Nicola is a rising star in our sport and has been flying since childhood. Already at age 16 he has thousands of hours of ground-handling and flying around his home spot of Molveno, Italy. He is a member of the Aire Cornizzolo Team, together with Dario Frigerio who took 2nd place, next to Nick on the podium. Dario has been flying since age 13, and he is now 27 (he recently became a father, congratulations for that as well, Dario!). Dario's first real infinite tumble was just a few weeks ago, and during the competition he executed a technically precise Esfera maneuver. During all of his acro training, Dario has not yet thrown his reserve. Congrats to Nick and Dario, we look forward to seeing you both excel in the future! Cheers from all the Team.
