The Austrian Championships and Schmittenpokal Open took place last week, and Alex Schalber won the Open Class and also the Austrian Champs. Joining him on the podium was Thomas Weingartner in 3rd. Both were flying Ozone EnZos... and in total 5 out of the top 10 and 11 out of the top 20 pilots in the Austrian Champs were flying Ozone. The “Schmittenpokal”, in the Pinzgau Valley, gave up perfect weather conditions allowing 4 valid tasks. The German League was also a part of this competition, and Ewa Korneluk-Guzy was the top placed woman in that event, flying her Ozone M4.
