Our Japan importer, Oka San of Falhawk International, reports on the 2012 Asian Games, where Mantra M4 pilots made a strong showing: The 3rd Asian Championship has come to a close in Linzhou, China. Japan (and Ozone) won the overall (Asian over all because the first pilot was Russian, Yuri), women's category, and team category. There were four valid tasks out of eight days. Conditions were very tricky because sometimes the cliff produced good thermals and sometimes heavy sink, depending on the local wind direction. And over the flats, thermals were not consistent (With bad timing, you landed out. And if you arrived with good timing, you climbed 1000m easily). All Japan Team pilots were flying the Mantra M4! And also the overall winner, Yuri Mishanin was flying an M4! The full results can be seen here. Ozone would like to congratulate Yuri Mishanin, Kamiyama San, Hiraki San, Jimmy Huang, and Nariyama San, all of whom finished in the top 10 with their Mantra M4s. And also Hiraki San and Igawa San, who were first and third in the women's category. Overall, the top 20 places were more than 50% Ozone, which is probably our strongest showing in Asia to date. Thanks for all of your continued support! Cheers from all the Team.
