The 2025 Italian Paramotor Championship
The 2025 Italian Paramotor Championship was held at the Aeroclub in Castiglione del Lago from July 1st to 6th. The event brought together 16 of the best paramotor pilots for a week of exciting and challenging competition.
This year’s championship used a classic competition format, similar to what pilots will face at the upcoming World Championships in France. The tasks included economy (flying with as little fuel as possible), navigation (flying to the correct waypoints in the right order), and precision flying (accurate landings and wing control).
Weather conditions added an extra challenge. While mornings were calm, afternoons brought strong thermals and shifting winds. These conditions tested the pilots’ skills and made flight planning more difficult, even for the most experienced competitors.
The event featured top-level pilots, including nine-time Italian Champion Pasquale Biondo, flying the Ozone Viper 6, who returned to defend his title. International pilots also joined the competition, including Maxime Diebolt from France. The mix of experienced and emerging talent made the championship competitive and exciting throughout the week.
Final results – General Classification:
1. Pasquale Biondo (Ozone Viper 6)
2. Andrea Cecchetto
3. Villi Claudio
This event also served as an important preparation for the 2025 Paramotor World Championships, which will take place in France this August. Since the Italian Championship followed the same format, it gave pilots a great opportunity to test their skills and equipment ahead of the world stage.
Congratulations to all the pilots from the Ozone team!
