The 3rd Asian Beach Games from 18 - 22 June, was Asia's first FAI sanctioned international PPG event. The Thai Team, flying Ozone wings (mostly), scored highly and won 3 out of the 4 possible gold medals in PPG events. One member of the Thai Team, George Macak, has been flying Ozone for a long time and is one of the better PPG pilots we know. Also flying Ozone on the Thai Team were Eed, and Joeyboy. There was a total of four podiums: Precision, Economy, Overall combined, and National team podium. -Precision: George: 1st. Eed: 2nd. -Economy: George: 2nd. Eed: 3rd. -Overall combined: George: 1st. Eed: 2nd. -Team: Thailand: 1st. George and Eed were both flying the legendary Viper 20m, their wing of choice for many years. Well done guys! We hope to see you at the worlds, or at St Hilaire, soon. Thai Team medal count: -Gold: 3 -Silver: 3 -Bronze: 2 Full results here. And a video from Emilia Plak, training with the Thai Team.
