Angel SQ Pro and Sublite Pods Upgrade

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Test and replacement of Angel SQ Pro and Sublite container pods

We have identified a potential issue that may slow down the reserve parachute deployment for these products. It only concerns the Angel SQ Pro and Sublite container pods, when the reserve packing is not compact enough. In rare cases, excessive resistance around the container flaps can delay the deployment.

Ozone recommends all pilots to test their pods are functioning properly by dropping the pod from a height of 1 metre while holding the bridle. If the pod flaps do not open, or in case of any doubt, the pod should be replaced.

If your pod needs replacing, please contact your local dealer. You will receive an updated version in exchange for returning your current pod.

How to identify whether your pod is concerned: If it does not have metal eyelets for the main closing elastic, it must be tested and replaced if necessary or in case of any doubt.
