The 2014 French Championships were a great success for Ozone pilots, who appeared on the podium in 4 classes: Alex Mateos   - 1st in French champs and open class in PF1, Viper3 20 Coralie Mateos – 1st women’s division, Slalom 19 Marie Liepmann –2nd women’s division, Speedster 22 Yann Leudiere / Sylvain Dupuis – 1st foot launch tandem category, Speedster 33 Jean Mateos / Célia Domingues – 2nd foot launch tandem category, Speedster 33 Laurent Assie - 3rd in solo trike, Ozone Slalom The competition took place in Levroux, France, with 82 pilots entered, including 14 foreign pilots from Belgium, Spain, Qatar and the UK. Alex reports: "The competition started fast, with many navigation and precision tasks during the first day. There were many pilots to compete in a very short time as the competition lasted only four days.  We were forced to get into the competitive spirit very quickly. Fortunately I had just come back from the UK Championships so it was easy for me to focus immediately. There was no time for an error, I had to be at my top form from the start. As a result, I won 6 out of 7 tasks. I am overwhelmed by the potential of my new wing the Viper3 20, and got used to it immediately. The Viper3 is comfortable to fly and has big potential. It is a perfect tool for classic competitions. 2014 is now my 4th French championship title, won with a lead of 800 points over the second pilot, current World Champion, Pascal Vallee. My next goals are the European Championships of Slalom in France, in July, and the Classic World Championships in Hungary, in August." A huge congratulations to Alex, and all of the Ozone pilots, thanks so much for your support! Cheers from all the Team. All results are here Photo by Fabrice Dehon
