‘Jet Para Hawks’ is a display paramotor team that uses jet paramotors. They are a collective of top U.K. paraglider/paramotor pilots who are pioneers in flying such equipment. This year, they have visited Qatar and the Philippines to perform their flight shows.
Allan Hewitt is the engineering genius behind the development of the jet systems, initially for use in the film stunt industry and now for display flying. The original concept is planned to be featured in film production soon, with Tom Cruise and other top Hollywood action heroes to be trained and strapped into their jet packs.
The Team leader of the Jet Para Hawks" Gordie Olivier says: "Together, Allan and I have worked on improving the systems and making them as perfect as possible for use with paramotor wings. They are simply fantastic to fly and offer many advantages over traditional paramotors. They produce little turbulence, allowing for close manoeuvres and ground skimming not possible with normal paramotors".
The Jet Para Hawks pilots enjoy flying Freeride 2 during their flight shows.
