The slalom competition season has been open by the first event – The French team selection and a training, followed by the French Slalom Open. The event took place in 14 – 18 June in Savine-le-Lac.
20 pilots flew over 20 tasks but only 9 of them were scored as the French Slalom Open during the last days.
Alex flying Freeride 14 won the competition, he was always at least 3 seconds ahead of the rest of the pilots.
Big applause goes to Marie who finished 3rd in overall classification.
Alex says: "This training was very efficient to test a new prototype wing above the water in a secure environment, we work faster on the prototypes in this way. The important thing now is to concentrate for the French Championships (Classic) next week"
Marie says: "At the start of training I was in a very good position, I managed to catch up with Alex! But the next days he progressed a little more than me and therefore started to get ahead. I am very happy to finish 3rd on the podium! The French Championships will undoubtedly be very intense next week!"
Congratulation from all Ozone Team!
