Serena, Beni and the Photon set new distance records in the Alps.

The European Alps have delivered stellar conditions in recent weeks and some impressive distance flights have gone down.

On June 17, Beni Kälin launched his Photon from Nissen, Switzerland, with a 300km flight planned. As we all know, things don’t always go as planned, and he ended up flying 420 km all the way to the Stubai Valley in Austria, for a new distance record in the Alps.

That same day, Serena Ronchi also launched from Nissen with her Photon, and set a new female triangle record for the Alps with a 311 km flat triangle.
