Another victory for the Ozone Team and their armada of R09's, this time in Belgium! Paul Schmit reports from the scene of the win: "The 2009 Belgian Paragliding Championships at the Drome in Beaurière, at Lèche-en Diois. Clear skies and a strong southerly wind, followed by a a strong northerly wind, forced the Meet Director, Joel Favre, to cancel the first three tasks.A mistral wind dominated conditions during the next two days, forcing us to move to Mens, a beautiful take-off protected from the northly wind. Two nice tasks were successfully organized in which Wim and I were able to obtain 1st and 2nd place with our R09 and Didier Ponslet obtained the 3rd place with the R07. The 3rd and last task took place at Lèche-en-Diois. The southerly wind strengthened during the task, keeping us from reaching the final goal set at Clamontard by a few kilometers. Nevertheless, we were able to validate our third task, and Wim and I were able to maintain our 1st and 2nd positions with our extraordinary R09 Mantras as the star." Below is the link to more photos, and the championship ranking. Congratulations Paul and Wim! Excellent work. Cheers from all the Team. (Some video of the last task, by 'Phil'
