Andreas 'Pepe' Malecki on the podium at the PWC Brazil

Our new Team Pilot, Pepe, received his new Mantra R09 at his home in Germany and managed to get only two hours of ridge soaring with it before leaving for the PWC Brazil. However, although he barely knew the wing, he managed to finish 2nd place overall with it for his first PWC Podium ever! Pepe reports that the conditions were quite weak and the efficiency and speed of the R09 was the key to beating out the competition. Pepe is overjoyed with his new wing, and we're happy and excited to have him on our team. It's great to hear your positive feedback. From any pilot, whether you're loving your school wing or winning with our Open Class Competition wing, for us success means only that you enjoy what we've spent time and energy producing. We're proud to produce wings that make pilots happy! Cheers from all the Team.
