Pawel Wins Polish National Championships Flying Viper 6
The Polish National Championships took place in Leszno from May 20 to 25, 2024. Pawel Kozarzewski (Lojak), who chose to fly with the Ozone Viper 6 this year, took 1st place and won the 2024 Polish Champion Title.
Pawel reports: "First-ever competition in the new Endurance format, which consists of long-distance flights where the pilot decides when and where to fly. We could be in the air for up to 5 hours a day. For me, it was the most physically demanding competition in my flying career. On the second day, I flew over 275 km, spending almost 5 hours on the speed bar, getting soaked 5 times! The weather conditions were not favorable, but when there were slots, we tried to stay in the air as long as possible.
Here are some numbers from the competition:
- We raced 4 sessions (3 mornings and 1 afternoon)
- I completed all 5 navigation tasks on the map with a maximum score of 5000 points
- Spent 11 hours, 22 minutes, and 20 seconds in the air
- Covered 653.04 km between SP and FP
- Burned around 50 liters of fuel throughout the competition
I flew these competitions with a new wing (Ozone Viper 6 16) and didn't have much time to get used to it, so I flew very conservatively. I didn't have the longest distance or the longest time in the air, but with good decisions, I built a significant lead over the other competitors. It was a good lesson before the 1st Paramotor Endurance World Championships, which will take place in late July and early August in England."
Congratulations and cheers from all the Ozone Team
