Product Info
The Ozo 2.1n is the naked (non-reversible) version of the OZO 2.1. Weighing in at only 270g, it is the more durable alternative to the specialized F*lite harness.
The Ozo 2n is not only changing colour to become the Ozo 2.1n: the Ozo 2.1n features a robust and durable 210D fabric bottom part and connectors for the optional OzAir protector.
The Ozo 2.1n is designed for hike & fly adventures where light weight is key, but comfort and ease of use is still a priority. It is suitable for pilots of all levels.
The OZO 2.1n is so light and small to carry that you don't need to consider it when choosing the backpack you intend to use for your ascent. Detachable leg straps make gearing up simple, and the transition to flight mode is quick and easy. EVA foam leg padding makes longer flights comfortable. A lightweight speed bar is included with the harness.
The UltraPack 2.1 rucksack (300g) is a great option offering similar features as the OZO 2.1 reversible backpack for hiking and trail running with an Ultralite glider for instance.
The Ozo 2.1n is certified per EN 1651-2017 for pilots up to 120kg.
Detachable leg straps make gearing up simple whether you're wearing boots, crampons, or skis. the harness geometry makes the transition from upright to seated very smooth. Generous lumbar support and padded shoulder straps allow for comfortable soaring sessions and long descents.
To complement this unique harness, Ozone has designed the OzAir back-protection - a sleek new ultralight inflatable protector optimised for both advanced hike-and-fly expeditions, as well as high-wind soaring.
The OzAir weighs only 460 grams, is certified at 31.7 g max. peak, and is quickly inflated prior to launch, providing protection even when navigating technical take-offs.
Its slim design also allows the full-sprint required under mountain wings, setting it apart from airbags of the past - and encouraging its use also by all pilots.

I'm lucky to be able to hike up straight from home and fly down. I was looking for a solution for the occasional climb or ski tour where I need a specific rucksack. I found the Ozo 2.1n to be the perfect versatile partner for those various projects.
I can easily combine it with the rucksack of my choice: the B*Lite for short hike and fly missions behind the house, the Ultrapack for trail running, a hiking rucksack for bivvy missions, a climbing one for alpine adventures and a skitouring bag for winter combos.
I like how compact it packs, the ease of use with the possibility to open up the legstraps (easier with skis or crampons on), and how smooth it is from standing to sitting. Its stability and comfort in flight lets me enjoy even longer flights, and still enjoy the fun handling of my glider.
