The 2012 FlyGames at Las Candelas were won by Ozone Team Pilot, Alex Mateos.

The FlyGames was a pylon race, and was held in what Mathieu Rouanet called "very, very windy" conditions. Due to difficult weather, all competition tasks were held during one day, instead of the 3 days scheduled.

Alex won every task flying his Viper, and made "no mistakes", as is his style. Mathieu Rouanet reports that pilots and public watching the event were deeply impressed by Alex's precision. Other notable Ozone team pilot finishes: Emilia Plak in 9th place overall, and Mathieu in 4th place - after missing one pylon.
