Endless Foot Drag Celebrates 20 Years in Fredonia

Endless Foot Drag returned to Fredonia, Kansas (USA), in 2026 for a milestone edition, celebrating 20 years of flying, friendship and the community that has helped make the event what it is today.
The weather didn’t make things easy. Rain bookended the week, with pilots arriving in wet conditions and leaving much the same way. In between, though, the crew made the most of every opportunity and managed to get in the air every single day.
What truly sets EFD apart year after year is the town of Fredonia. The hospitality from this community is unmatched and that relationship between the pilots and the local community was once again a big part of the week.
The local high school hosted a fly-in breakfast, giving pilots the chance to land on the field, grab a hot meal with the crew and launch straight back out. Local families also opened their properties to the group, hosting fly-in breakfasts and dinners throughout the event.
The 20th anniversary brought plenty of new faces to the field alongside longtime EFD veterans, adding fresh energy while celebrating two decades of history.
Twenty years on, it’s the people, the shared experiences and Fredonia’s genuine small-town hospitality that continue to make Endless Foot Drag something special.
Twenty years down, and plenty more to come.
See you at EFD 21.
