The Ultralite X (ULX) is a speed-focused miniwing evolution of the innovative Ultralite 5 glider. Featuring smaller sizes and R3X-style trimmers, this glider is optimised for intermediate-to-advanced level speed pilots looking for glide, speed, roll response and stability.
The Speed-specific riser design allows for accurate rear-riser piloting, unparalleled by other mini-wing designs - many of which rely on speedbar rather than on trimmers.
The new 11m size combines the best of Speedwing agility with Mini-wing glide performance. It is one of the smallest, most dynamic, responsive, and stable mini-wings available on the market.
The Pilot
The ULX offers an exciting combination of lightness and performance, making it the perfect choice for high-performance soaring and hike-and-fly adventures. Pilots intending to fly the smaller sizes must be experienced speed flyers and all sizes require skills in using the risers for pitch and roll control to maximise the glider's performance and potential.

Ozone’s pioneering SharkNose technology is at the core of this next generation design, allowing for short take-offs in technical terrain, and overhead stability at increased speeds.
Dominico N10D canopy fabric makes this a featherweight addition to your pack, while a pulley-riser system and enhanced weight-shift characteristics grant ultimate piloting precision.

The Ultralite 5 gave us the foundation — its class-leading weight was the starting point, not a target to chase. From there, we developed an all-new Ultralite-specific SharkNose profile. It delivers the stability and high-speed confidence that this kind of flying demands, without adding a gramme where it isn't needed.
Inflation and launch behaviour were a priority. In the mountains, on steep or uneven ground, you don't get second chances — so the Ultralite X inflates quickly and predictably, making the most critical part of the flight safer and more controlled.
The high arc design gives excellent roll response, which translates directly into fun and precision in the air. New panel shaping, modified wing twist and reduced line drag raise the overall performance and widen the usable range — more speed, better glide, and a wing that remains stable and efficient at higher speeds.
Based on the R3X design, the riser system comes with trimmers and smooth Ronstan pulleys for precise rear steering. It's a setup that gives you real control and real feedback, whether you're carving tight turns low on the hill or gliding away from the terrain.
