Jeff Katz
Where do you live? I live in Utah part time, France part time, and spend my summers exploring around the alps. My home flying sites are the Point of the Mountain in Utah and Les Deux Alpes in France.
How did you first start Speedflying? I was first introduced to flying in 2012 when I took a tandem ride with Cade Palmer at Jackson Hole. I learned about speedflying in 2015 and was flying almost everyday by 2017.
What do you do for work? I am a professional speedflying instructor as well as working with ozone on testing and design. To me speedflying represents the ultimate expression of creativity and flow in the mountains. Speedflying has also given me a community, no matter where I go local pilots are eager to meet up and show me their favorite lines.
