The snow conditions are fantastic. 3 days ago we were in le Queyras with a west wind. I started the day with my Manta 12 and finished with my Manta 8. The wind was perfect and the snow was powder on the top… Crazy for the end of April. The Queyras gets 15m snow accumulated in the winter!!!
Without effort I managed to climb 13 times differents summits or crests, and 3 of them were more that 3000m high. The car was park at 2000m closed to the snow.
My Gps said 76 KM and a bit more than 10 000m with my kite packed… Even in a ski resort it’s hard to reach so many metres high… And the ski resorts are all closed in this season. Check the IGN map and the different pictures…
