Four Golds for Ozone
This news piece has not yet been translated but will be soon, thank you for your patience. Ozone riders, Kari Schibevaag and Sigve Botnen, both won two gold medals in the Snowkiting National Championships in Norway. The conditions were not easy with poor light and challenging snow thwarting attempts at that extra pop or smooth ride.
Up against his most challenging opponent Sigve Botnen managed to stick more tricks in the snowboard freestyle competition clearly dominating. This was a result of Remi not landing all his moves while Botnen managed to stick a few good basic tricks securing a solid victory. He also claimed the gold in the snowboard event where Botnen found another tough opponent in André Natland, but remained unbeatable.
Kari Schibevaag ruled the women’s events by impressing the judges in freestyle ski, leaving Valerie Bertrand far behind. Kari also won the ski race ahead of Kristin Lippe and Valerie Bertrand.
Kari and Sigve spun gold on their Sport+ ‘09 Instincts claiming a total of four gold medals for Team Ozone!
Well Rode and Represented!
