YAKUZA :: RIDER'S VIEWS

Graham Steel

British Parakart Champion 2002-2005

“I’ve been with Ozone right from the very start with the first Race kite the Razor. The Razor was a great kite good enough to win me 2 British Championships but we knew we could make something better. The design brief was simple we want to keep the speed we want more low speed power we want the wind range per size extending we want easier handling in the turn and better stability. Simple we thought but after experimenting with different profiles and big aspect ratios and small aspect ratios we realized that it wasn’t going to be simple. Lots of different avenues were explored in the making of the new Yakuza and all that was learned from the mass of research kites produced was put into the final proto types. Then weeks of testing in Germany Holland and the UK settled the final trim of the kite.

So how is it you ask?

Well out of the 9 Championship races this year that I had the Yakuza for I won 8 handing me my 3 rd consecutive British title for Ozone.

What is it that makes it so good? Difficult to say “its just a lovely sorted package that oozes a professional approach to the sport of Parakarting”.
