The SKM: Day 1
On 13th December the SKM kicks off at the Col du Lautaret. While the organizers and helpers built the tent village for protection from the cold, the Riders couldn’t wait to cut their fresh lines in the fresh snow.
The sun was shining and they were rewarded with light wind for a few hours, just enough for the biggest kites. The organization team Regis and Wareck have had some huge rails made, tested under the eyes of the Snowkite World champion, Chasta. Chasta also managed to climb up the mountain nearly to the top, packed his kite picked a killer Freeride section down the face. Its such a pleasure to watch him playing in the mountains!!!
Loads of Pro Riders have arrived for the SKM to spend a great week together, testing, training and of course partying!!!
